Lionsoft
A multi-hundred-bed public referral hospital. Patient information is carried across paper files, department registers and isolated spreadsheets. Admissions depend on a sequence of handoffs between wards, records, pharmacy and laboratory — and no single view of bed status or caseload exists for management.
Note — This is an illustrative engagement: a worked example of the Lions Method applied to a representative public healthcare — referral hospitalsituation. It is not a report on a named client, and it contains no client data. Real engagements are published with client permission, following the same nine-part structure.
This framework demonstrates the structure of the engagement: friction reduced by removing duplicate handoffs, a single source of truth for the patient record, and a path to sustainable records compliance. In real engagements, results are measured against the baseline established in the diagnostic — and are reported here only where the client permits.
Begin with the diagnostic — one or two weeks, ten deliverables, and a clear map of where performance is being lost.
